Trevor will be standing for Preston West in the Lancashire County Council elections and Ingol & Cottam in the Preston City Council elections in May 2021.
He is local, experienced, and active now. Trev has extensive knowledge of the area and is currently living in Cottam where he was a City Councillor for 11 years. He was brought up in Ingol and has family in Cadley.
Trevor is a local School Governor, Chair of Cottam Community Centre, a past Mayor of Preston and knows how to make a difference and how important good local representation is.
In May, local residents will have the opportunity to influence who represents them, shouts up for them and makes a difference. Residents deserve the best- they deserve the option of having a choice.
All too often elected representatives do not live in the area. As a local resident Trevor is concerned that during this pandemic people are struggling, communities are worrying, and environments are in danger of being forgotten.
- Getting involved and taking action through 'Cottam Cares supporting Ingol in need', is just one example of what he has being doing.
- Supporting 'Pride in Preston' through a clean-up campaign has seen Trevor provide litter picking equipment by working with the Parish Council to loan out equipment through Cottam Community Centre.
Trevor is out and about doing all he can within the current restrictions, and we’ll keep you up to date with his activities. If you have any time or would like to help, email Trevor at [email protected]
